About KSH Advising

Karen Horkitz is the principal consultant at KSH Advising. She started KSH Advising in 2023, following 30 years of management and consulting experience with companies in the clean energy and technology sectors.

Karen is a nationally-recognized expert in clean energy market transformation program strategy, management, and evaluation and has served as an advisor to state agencies in California, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and New York and as an executive for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance.

Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Emory University and a master of science degree in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

When she’s not advising clients, Karen enjoys reading, SCUBA diving in tropical locations, spending time with family, and exploring remote corners of the Pacific Northwest.
